What Trilovia does with your data

Short and specific. No advertising, no selling data, no tracking across sites.

Who is responsible

Trilovia is run by Piotr Bąk, a private individual, who is responsible for the personal data described on this page. Questions about your data: aieduvia111@gmail.com.

What we process, and why

  • Your trip request (description, budget, dates, travellers, where you fly from). Options and costs are worked out in your browser. We don’t store the request on a server.
  • The AI day-by-day plan. Only when you press “Write the day-by-day plan”, your trip description and the chosen destination are sent to OpenAI to write the text. Please don’t put personal details in the description.
  • Hotels, restaurants and attractions. When you open a destination, we ask Google (Places API) for places in that city. The request contains the destination and the kind of place, not your name or trip details.
  • Your account (if you create one): your email address, a user ID and, if you sign in with Google, your name. We use them to let you in, to keep your saved trips, and to limit use of the costly AI and search features per person. Legal basis: providing the service you asked for, and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and affordable.
  • Saved trips. A trip you save is stored in your account (Google Firestore, in the EU). Without an account it stays in your browser only. A trip contains the destination, length, travellers, your description, the cost estimate and, if you chose one, a hotel name.
  • Technical data. Our host (Vercel) and our services keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time) for security and to apply usage limits. We also count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and builds no profile of you across sites. Usage counters are stored under a user ID or a network address and expire within a day.

Who else handles data

  • Google (Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Places API): sign-in, account and saved trips; place search.
  • OpenAI: writes the AI day-by-day plan from the text you send. This is processed in the United States; OpenAI’s own terms apply.
  • Vercel: hosts the website.
  • Partner websites (for example Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Google Flights, Google Maps): when you click out to them they become responsible for what you do there, under their own privacy rules.

We don’t sell your data and don’t use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Account and saved trips: until you delete them or your account.
  • Usage counters: up to a day. Server logs: for the period our host keeps them, normally a few weeks at most.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, export or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and you can complain to a data-protection authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO). You can do much of this yourself:

  • Delete a saved trip on the Trips page.
  • Delete your account and all its trips from the account menu (“Delete account”). It takes effect immediately and can’t be undone.
  • For anything else, write to the address above. We will reply within a month.

Cookies and similar storage

What the site needs. If you sign in, Firebase keeps a sign-in session in your browser’s storage so you stay signed in; it is removed when you sign out. Saved trips for visitors without an account, and your cookie choice, use your browser’s local storage. These need no consent.

Optional partner tool (only if you accept). Trilovia asks whether it may run a script from our affiliate partner Travelpayouts (“Drive”). It can set cookies and records which bookings started from Trilovia, so that Trilovia can earn a commission. It is loaded only after you press Accept. If you decline, or don’t answer, nothing from the partner runs and Trilovia works the same. You can change your mind any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. Travelpayouts’ own privacy policy applies to what it collects.

Trilovia itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies and doesn’t track you across sites.

Links to partners and prices

“Check price”, “Find tickets”, “Search flights” and “View offer” open other websites. Some links may become affiliate links, which means Trilovia can earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. We will mark such links clearly. Costs on trip options are planning estimates, not prices or offers. Prices shown for partner offers come from the partner and show when they were last seen; always check the final price on the partner’s site.

Children

Accounts are for people aged 16 and over. If you are younger, you can still browse Trilovia and plan trips without an account.

Changes

Trilovia is an early preview and will change. When this page changes in a way that matters to you, we will update the date at the top. See also the Terms of use.
